On May 7 Natus Vincere G2A will battle against Vega Squadron in two consecutive Bo3 matches. Recently, our team started a bootcamp in Kyiv in order to strengthen our tactics and gameplay; all to offer a better show to our fans in the tournaments to come. We already proved our worth with two ties against Vega Squadron and Team Empire in the first games of DreamLeague S7, but our goal is to improve even more.
The first match of the day will take place at 16:00 CEST in the European qualifiers for Dota Summit 7. The eight teams have been split in two groups that will follow a Bo3 GSL format; only the top two teams of each one will advance to the Playoffs, on May 12. Together with us, in the group B, there are Alliance, Cloud9, and Vega Squadron – you can find more info on each team in our Preview.
The second game is planned shortly after at 19:00 CEST during the CIS-European qualifiers for EPICENTER 2017. A total of eight teams will clash in the double elimination bracket for a spot to the LAN event in Moscow, Russia, from June 4 to 11. InternationalNatus Vincere received a direct invite to the qualifiers, while two more teams, including our opponent, had to earn the right to participate through the CIS and EU open qualifiers. The winner of this matchup will advance to the Semifinals, while the loser will drop down to the Losers’ Round 1.
Vega Squadron changed their lineup in April, but even if they don’t have many games on the record, the team is composed of strong CIS players, thus they must not be underestimated. Two days ago we faced them at DreamLeague S7, losing the first match in the late game, but dominating the second thanks to our well executed combo, courtesy of GeneRaL on Dark Seer. Our guys will try their best to achieve victory in the next matches, so don’t miss the opportunity to share an afternoon with Natus Vincere!
